I am so sorry that you will be saying goodbye to a beloved companion soon. Deciding it is time for euthanasia is a decision made out of pure love and responsibility, yet it is truly heartbreaking. I feel for you and I offer my help for you and your family when it is time to say goodbye.
I am the owner of Peaceful Pets. I started this business to ensure families in the Langley and surrounding areas can take comfort knowing I have been through a similar experience and am here to help.
I offer at home euthanasia. I strive to give families the most fear free, pain free, stress free euthanasia experience possible. We want our pets to leave this world in a location where they are comfortable, where they feel safe and secure with loved ones close. Our pets deserve nothing less! They have taken care of us and loved us unconditionally.
Families also deserve to be given an experience that allows for the time and space necessary to say goodbye in a way that will hopefully help bring some closure. Losing a pet is a significant loss that often comes with significant grief. The moments shared together while saying goodbye are so precious and can allow for some closure. I want you to know I will never rush you in those moments if you need that time. It often helps to share memories in the form of stories, photos, poems or songs, or to simply have the time necessary to be in the moment to be able to process what is happening.
